Who we are

CanadaPrint ("we," "us," "our") is a Canadian print-on-demand and custom print services company based in Lantzville, British Columbia. We operate the website canadaprint-2.myshopify.com. For privacy questions, email us at privacy@canadaprint-2.myshopify.com.

What personal information we collect

Order information: your name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone, and the items you ordered.
Account information (if you create an account): email, password (hashed), order history, saved addresses.
Payment information: processed by Shopify Payments and/or third-party processors. We do not store full credit-card numbers on our servers.
Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referral source, and cookies. Used for analytics and fraud prevention.
Uploaded design files: artwork, photos, or text you upload to personalize products. Stored only as long as needed to fulfill and support your order.

How we use it

To process, manufacture, and ship your order
To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and customer service replies
To detect and prevent fraud
To improve our site and products (aggregate analytics only)
To send marketing emails — only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link at the bottom of any marketing email.

Who we share it with

Shopify Inc. — our storefront and payment platform (based in Ottawa, Canada)
Print production partners — receives your shipping address and order details only; they do not receive payment info
Shipping carriers — Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, Purolator receive the shipping address and package weight
Government/law enforcement — only when required by Canadian law (e.g., valid court order)

We never sell your personal information.

Your rights under PIPEDA (and provincial equivalents)

If you are in Canada, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and comparable provincial laws give you the right to:

Know what personal information we hold about you
Access that information
Request corrections to inaccurate information
Withdraw consent for uses beyond fulfilling your order
File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

Cookies

We use cookies for shopping-cart functionality, site analytics (Shopify built-in), and (if you opt in) marketing retargeting. You can disable cookies in your browser, but the shopping cart will not work without them.

Data retention

Order data: retained for 7 years (Canada Revenue Agency tax-record requirement). Account data: retained until you delete your account. Uploaded design files: retained for 12 months after delivery, then deleted.

Children

Our products are not marketed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, email customers who have an account.
